Redingensians Rams run riot against Canterbury RFC

4th place and 5th place played a ferocious match where Redingensians outplayed Canterbury RFC and won by 40-15.

After getting off to a good start Redingensians pulled away after the break to outscore Canterbury 28-7 in the second half.

An early try gave Redingensians the lead but Canterbury quickly hit back with a penalty of their own.

They also added a try to their total to give them their only lead in the game.

A sin bin early for Canterbury in the second half was quickly taken advantage of by the Ramsdespite loosing their scrum half to a nasty looking shoulder injury, they didn’t let up.

The game was just about still in the balance when Canterbury scored their second try of the game but it only let the flood gates open and Redingensians ran riot.

Three more tries throughout the second half gave the game a score line richly deserved by Redingensians outclassed Canterbury in all aspects.

They dominated possession and territory to earn the points.

Redingensians move up to third while Canterbury drop to fifth in the 1st XV National League 2 South league.
