A 50mph speed limit has been enforced today on a stretch of the M20 until 2020.
The new restriction will be imposed in both directions between junctions nine and 11.
Building work continues on the new junction 10a that is set to cost £104 million.
Vehicles will be monitored by speed cameras and a roundabout will be built over the motorway.
The London bound carriageway will be closed later today and tomorrow between both junctions from 8pm in the evening to 6am in the morning.
