Local park will play ‘The Greatest Showman’ at open air cinema for three days running.
Betteshanger park near Deal is hosting at an open air cinema this summer.
By popular demand of last years success, they will be playing ‘The Greatest Showman’ not once, not twice but THREE times, running consecutively on May 31st, June 1st and June 2nd. This is the first open air cinema to have the same film run over numerous days because of its high rate in demand.
A great evening entertainment on a perfect summers night and the chance to sing-a-long to your favourite movie of 2018.
The Greatest Showman was released on boxing day 2017, and was still being shown in cinemas in May, because of its success.
The movie musical inspired by true events shows P.T Barnum (played by Hugh Jackman) celebrating the birth of show business and shows the man who rose from nothing into a worldwide sensation.
Head of communications of Betteshanger park; Lynnette Crisp says:
“We are a commercial organisation and have been running open air cinema evenings at Betteshanger for the last two years.
“It’s popularity is very much dependant on the film that is being shown. To date we have sold over 2,000 tickets.
“We have a further three more events through the summer/autumn”
