Police appeal for witnesses after M2 collision

Kent police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on an M2 slip road near Sittingbourne yesterday morning.

Officers were called to the scene which saw a lorry overturn on the London-bound exit at around 6:00am.

A 42-year-old man, who was driving the vehicle at the time, sustained a serious arm injury and has been taken to a London hospital for treatment.

Investigators are asking to hear from anyone who witnessed the accident or saw the lorry being driven during the time leading up to the incident.

Requests are being made to obtain dash cam footage from motorists travelling on the M2 between junctions 6 and 5, between the hours of 5:30am and 5:45am.
