A road in Canterbury will be closed due to a faulty cable.
Kent County Council have given notice that Orange Street, Canterbury will be closed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Palace Street, just past Zeus Restaurant.
The closure is necessary to enable the repair of a faulty cable that will be carried out by UK Power Network.
Simon Buckler, Press Officer, said: “UK Power Networks engineers worked safely and as quickly as possible to repair an underground cable fault which caused a partial interruption to electricity supplies at a property in Orange street, Canterbury at 5pm on Tuesday.
“A temporary repair was completed by 9:20am Wednesday 16 and supplies were back to normal by 2:47am Thursday 17.
“The temporary road closure will be removed once the road surface is returned to normal. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, It was a standard fault on an underground cable, no third party damage.”
