Met Police release CCTV in connection to London sex attacks

The Metropolitan Police have been following an investigation of a serial sex attacker in Greater London.

There have been up to 25 reported sexual assaults in Bromley, Bexley, Lewisham and Greenwich.

New CCTV of the supposed assailant has been recovered from the latest attack on 22nd November 2017. Although the first reported assault was on 16th of October 2016, on a 13 year-old girl.

The video recordings showed “a middle-aged white man aged in his 40s, with blue eyes”.

Due to the sensitivity of the crime and the age of the girls who have been affected, Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Furphy of Lewisham police, said “There might be further victims who have not yet spoken to police; if you are a victim, or know someone who has been a victim of a sexual assault, I can assure you your information will be treated with the strict confidence and sensitivity. We also have access to specialist support.

“Police have increased patrols in the areas where offences have been reported, and are working with local schools to reassure pupils and parents.”
