Traffic collision in Margate leaves man hospitalised

A man in his fifties has been rushed to hospital after a collision with a car in Cliftonville, Kent Police have confirmed.

Police were called to Northdown Road at 11am after reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian has sustained head injuries and has been taken to hospital to receive treatment.

Traffic is now moving after the road was reopened at 11:43am.
