Five events in Kent to make this an unforgettable summer
With lockdown soon to be easing, people are more excited than ever to get out and about to see what events Kent has to offer this summer.
Here’s what you can look forward to in Kent!
Rochester Castle Concerts
The annual concerts are held at the historic Rochester Castle in Medway and will host some of the biggest names like The Libertines, Soul II Soul, and UB40. The three day event will be held from 8th – 10th July. This event is a great way to sing to your hearts content. It has been said that this year will also host some on Kent’s local talents.

Margate Pride 2021
Margate pride is set to take place on Margate Main Sands with a parade and rally. The event will celebrate the LGBT+ community. It doesn’t cost a penny to get involved and to show your support. Margate Pride 2021 will be held on the 14th August in the summer sun.

Medway Rapture and Gaming Festival
This Rapture and Gaming festival is fun for all the family. The event is scheduled to take place at Chatham’s Historic Dockyard and will have a real submarine with a murder mystery game for people to take part in. There will also be guest speakers and workshops for people who want to learn more about the inner workings of the gaming industry. The event will take place from the 3rd – 4th July. Prices start at £15.00.

Estuary 2021
This event is great for art lovers. It will take place along the Thames along North Kent and South Essex. It celebrates creativity and art, and will span across 83 miles of the Thames. Artwork can be located in various landscapes and buildings along the river for people to discover and immerse themselves in the experience. It will run from 22nd May to 13th June 2021.
Medway Electric Festival
This event will look at the arts and showcase artwork across the towns. More than 50 local artists will take part. It will take place both online and in person. Medway Electric festival will run from 21st August to 30th August.
