Another man charged over January 2016 Dover protests

Another person has been charged in connection with violent demonstrations in Dover almost a year ago. The demonstrations which disrupted most of Dover resulted in over 60 people being charged in connection with the demonstrations.

Craig Nickels, 35, of no fixed address, but with links to the London area, was arrested on Wednesday 18 January 2017.

Later that day he was charged with committing violent disorder in Dover on Saturday 30 January 2016.

He has been bailed to appear before Folkestone magistrates on Wednesday 1 March 2017.
