A driver has collided with several parked cars in Chatham after a short police pursuit.
The Community Policing Team signalled for a suspicious vehicle to stop on Upper Luton Road.
The driver failed to stop, sparking a short police pursuit, which resulted in a collision with several parked cars and a stationary police vehicle in Castle Hill at 10:20pm on Monday.
They then left the vehicle and fled into a residential building in Shipwrights Avenue.
South East Coast ambulance service was called to the scene but no major injuries were reported.
Following this, officers entered the building and arrested a 19-year-old male from Chatham on suspicion of dangerous driving. The police also uncovered a knife from the car.
A 17-year-old girl was also arrested at the property after police became concerned the was supplying drugs after an amount of suspected class B drugs were found. Both remain in police custody.
