A new Bakers + Baristas opened up on Friday in Canterbury, with the ribbon cut by the Qayyum brothers and their business partner Sadaf Farooq, the creative brains behind the interior design of their franchises.
This is one of five franchises owned by the partners who have taken over the premises from Patisserie Valerie in Canterbury which closed in January.
In an interview with Amer Quayyum, he said that ambiance is everything for a successful coffee shop and “top-notch coffee” – and being a family concern, those special extra touches that make it a great place to visit.
People were already gathering outside as they cut the ribbon, and quickly filled the premises, promising a successful busy new coffee shop for Canterbury.
In an interview with Sadaf Farooq, she said they expect it to be “a very busy store.”
Word quickly spread as trays of muffins hit the High Street for a taste.
This is a coffee shop that is already a big hit.
