Coastal flat fire under investigation by Kent Fire and Rescue
An investigation has started after fire crews were called this morning to Broad Street in Deal, after receiving reports of a flat blaze.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Broad Street in Deal to reports of a fire in a flat.
Three fire engines attended the flat and crews wore breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet, 2 main jets and water from a hydrant to tackle the flames.
The fire was extinguished and the incident reported to have stopped at 8:30am, the street has now reopened and there were no reported casualties.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and the case is currently being investigated by Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
