Murder suspect linked to fatal Dartford shooting dies

A suspect linked to a fatal firearms incident has died in hospital.

Officers were called to Priory Road in Dartford on Saturday, May 6 following reports of a disturbance.

Hayley Burke, 36, was taken to a London hospital after a gunshot injury but passed away Monday, May 8.

Jacob Cloke, was also taken to hospital with critical injuries caused by firearms but died yesterday.

The 29-year-old was being treated as the suspect in the murder investigation launched by Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

The coroner will now lead an investigation into both deaths.

Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate will assist with the process.
