Three arrested after ‘brawl’ in Sheerness High Street

Three people have been arrested following a high street ‘brawl’ involving 10-15 people.

The fight is alleged to have broken out around 8.30pm near the junction of Beach Street in Sheerness High Street on Saturday, May 4.

Police say the “violent disturbance” saw damage caused to local businesses and vehicles, adding no serious injuries were reported.

Two men in their 30s and a woman in her 20s, all from Sheppey, were arrested on Sunday, May 5 on suspicion of violent disorder and have since been released on bail pending further investigation.

Police are inquiring to identify others who were involved in the disturbance and officers are urging anyone who can help to come forward.

They are asking for video evidence to be submitted to their online portal and for any witnesses to call the appeal line at 01795419119 quoting case reference 46/XY/13477/24.
