ARREST: Officers have arrested a man for burglary in London Road, Ramsgate.

12.33: Police officers arrested a 36-year-old man from Margate on suspicion of committing the burglary at a house on Thursday 22nd December 2016.

He has been released on bail until February 24th 2017 pending further enquires.

ACCIDENT: Another accident on M20

10.07: The A249 between M20 and M2 is closed due to black ice and earlier collision.

Normal traffic conditions are expected to return at 13:30 and 13:45 on 13th January 2017.

INCIDENT: Three homes evacuated after fallen tree

09.50: Kent fire and rescue services were called to Stanley Road in Folkestone around 9PM last night after reports of a large tree falling into three homes.

The tree measured approximately 2 foot at the base and 30 foot in height and had bought down three telephone cables.

Fire fighters used small tools to cut away branches from the trees to enable residents to leave their homes.
