Kent MPs react to Speaker’s decision to rule out another meaningful vote

Kent MPs have reacted to Speaker John Bercow’s decision to rule out another vote on the Prime Minister’s deal unless it is changed.

This comes after he shockingly announced that he would not allow a third “meaningful vote”, just 11 days before the UK are due to leave the European Union.

Theresa May has negotiated the withdrawal deal, but is still awaiting it to also be agreed by the Cabinet. They voted against it twice, and the government has been considering a third attempt to get it through Parliament.

Kent MPs, including Craig Mackinlay and Tracey Crouch have today spoken out in retaliation to the speaker’s decision.

Well it is either a really good thing or a really bad thing…irrespective of whether you are Leave or Remain. Which is a long way of saying, no-one is, at this point, quite sure…
