The Cotswold Company opens in Whitefriars Shopping Centre

The Cotswold Company has opened in Whitefriars shopping centre in Canterbury.

The national furniture retailer has taken over the two-storey building that was previously HMV. The store sells a range of items including garden furniture, sofas and kitchen accessories.

The Cotswold Company will look to be a valued edition to Canterbury’s high street.

After HMV closed its doors in January, The Cotswold Company were quick to move into the space.

Canterbury shoppers expressed their feelings about the new shop.

I think it’s a great addition to the high street! it’s very different to anything else we have in Canterbury.

Some very nice bits and pieces in here. It’s a nice shopping experience and can see myself coming back.

This new Canterbury store is the brands eighth store to open and the third store this year. The shop will be spread over 6,000 square feet, and two floors.

The store even offers customers one-way video calls with a member of shop floor staff.

Canterbury’s shiny new shop will be looking to attract plenty more customers over the coming weeks.
