The MP for Dover and Deal, Natalie Elphicke, had defected to the Labour Party and people on X had lot to say.
Hearing the news, people in and out of the political world took to the social media platform to make their opinions clear.

The former Conservative crossed the floor today, brandishing the Tory government as “tired and chaotic”

But the news was not received well by others.
Carol Vorderman, who in recent years has been active on social media calling out the government and wider Conservative Party was less pleased.
Tory MP Natalie Elphicke may not be the “win” Labour thinks she is.
Read this serious piece by ⏬️ @Gabriel_Pogrund where Natalie publicly tormented the victims of her sex Offender husband Charlie Elphicke (the former MP)

Mrs. Elphicke came under fire after she criticised Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford for ‘playing politics.’
Kevin Maguire is an associate editor for The Daily Mirror and voiced his opinion.
Is defector Natalie Elphicke a Tory MP too far for Labour?
She took a cheap shot at Marcus Rashford, daftly blamed the EU for Brexit chaos and demonised boat people.
Labour is almost certain to win Dover and Deal. Which presumably is why she’s standing down.

Marcus Rashford was awarded an MBE for his work campaigning to give free school meals to disadvantaged children during the pandemic.
Ava Santina, Political Correspondent for JoePolitics had an equally unpleasant assessment of the defection.
Tory MP Natalie Elphicke has defected to the Labour party.
