Harry Potter Book night 2017
By Lily Houston
On Thursday 2nd of February between 5 and 6pm The Beaney in Canterbury invites you to share the magic of Harry Potter and make your own magical wand.
The event is tied into Bloomsbury’s annual Harry Potter Book Night, which celebrates the magical wizard written by J.K. Rowling.
There are events happening for Harry Potter Book Night happening across the UK and the world, but this seems to be the only one happening in Canterbury.
The post on the Canterbury Museums website says:
“Young wizards please join us for a wand-making activity as we celebrate all things Harry Potter.”
Unfortunately the event is aimed at children, between ages 5 to 11. So for you slightly older fantastical fans, you may have to take a young child, such as your little sister, niece or nephew, with you to enjoy this event.
The event is free, but advanced booking is essential by emailing: canterburylibrary@kent.gov.uk or call 03000 41 31 31.
