Maidstone hotel set to reopen after year closure

The newly named Hamlet Hotels Maidstone is set to reopen it’s doors to the public after being closed for over a year.

On April 21st 2022, Larkfield Priory Hotel announced it was closing its doors until further notice, providing refunds to all those with bookings prior.

A year later, the hotel was taken over by Hamlet Hotels and officially rebranded to Hamlet Hotels Maidstone.

The hotel has received a full refurbishment with all 53 rooms being redecorated.

Hamlet Hotels have more than 50 years of experience in the industry in both the UK and around the world.

The Hamlet Restaurant will also reopen to both guests and members of the public.

The Restaurant will offer a full breakfast buffet in the morning, an international menu for lunch and dinner, alongside serving afternoon tea.

General Manger, Farhaan Basheer expressed his excitement in looking forward to reopening the hotel.

He told KentOnline:

“It’s been a tough time getting everything up and running, but we are almost there now.”

The hotel has also upgraded to being a fully cashless hotel.

“The check-in process has been upgraded- guests can do this online without having to come to reception,” he added.

The hotel is set to reopen on Saturday with prices starting fro £77 per night.
