M2 roads between J4-J3 reopen after accident

All lanes are now open between J4-J3 on the M2 after a road traffic accident.

The accident took place just before the Medway Bridge London-bound at around 8 this morning where a car collided with a HGV that ended up on its side.

Three fire engines were called to the scene to assist with a fuel and oil leak from the HGV which fire crews managed to contain.

No parties were trapped or injured in the accident but Kent police and the South East Coast Ambulance service were called.

Recovery is complete and Kent police have reopened all lanes of the road.
