This comes just hours after warnings to stay away from the shore in Margate as the weather, combined with High Tide makes the sea particularly rough.
They’re using hashtag #floodaware on their tweets to raise awareness of the issues of being near the coast this time of year in adverse weather conditions.
Another reminder that the high tide in #Margate is particularly rough. Please take extra care & stay well back from the shore. #floodaware pic.twitter.com/zcao4bYWd5
