WOMAN FREED FROM CAR AFTER ASHFORD CRASH

A woman was left trapped in her car at the scene of a crash on an Ashford road this morning.

The crash involving a car and a lorry occurred on Bad Munstereifel Road, Ashford at around 8:55am this morning.

Kent Fire and Rescue services used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of the car and free the woman trapped inside.

She has been passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Services.
