NHS Crisis: Parliament set to debate NHS assaults
By Sonny Snelling
Next month Parliament will debate whether it should be a criminal offence to assault NHS staff.
We recently reported in East Kent that there were 908 separate assaults on staff members in the last 3 years.
A petition has received over 100,000 signatures meaning that parliament must debate it.
I've just signed @LBC's #FerrariGEMS petition to better protect our NHS staff, please sign up here: https://t.co/rdYgAt2mEz

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has put his support to the petition.
The petition was created by LBC presenter Nick Ferrari who states that there are 193 attacks on NHS staff a day in England. He thinks this is unacceptable.
Nick wants to ‘Guard Our Emergency Medical Services’ and campaign to better protection our nurses and doctor by making it a specific legal offence to attack them.
