Air ambulance called to ’emergency incident’ in Dover
A large police and emergency service response, including an air ambulance, was called to an incident in Snargate Street, Dover earlier today.
A fleet of seven police cars as well as fire engines were called to the vicinity by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 11:55am.
An air ambulance landed on Dover beach shortly after, with two paramedics spotted running towards a private address on Snargate Street.

Air ambulances are usually reserved for serious injuries, or those that may need specialist treatment at specific hospitals.
Eyewitnesses, reported that a single person was carried into the helicopter before it took off shortly after 12:30pm.
An official spokesperson said: “Kent Police officers assisted South East Coast Ambulance Service at a medical incident at a private address in Snargate Street, Dover at 11.55am on Friday, May 7.”
