The co manager Rich Bennett posted the news on their facebook 3 days ago.

“It is with heavy heart that I have to announce that Boutilliers brewery has appointed insolvency practitioners to oversee the closure of the brewery.
It’s been a rollercoaster 6 years with many ups and obviously some big downs, but the time is up for us.
Thank you if you’ve ever bought and enjoyed our beer, and I hope we’ve made some good memories.
Drew will be continuing in Ashford with the Taproom, so pay him a visit if you can.
Thanks again for all the support we’ve had over the years, it’s been much appreciated”.
People were sad by the news and posted their thoughts, one posted:
“Oh what sad news. Thank you for everything you have done for the community and beer. You have been so amazing.”
Another person wrote:
“Some of the best beers I ever tasted were by you guys. This is a sad day for the scene and reflects how rough times are at the moment. I hope all involved keep their heads held high and I wish all the best for the future”.
There was nothing that said why the Brewery had too close.
