Canterbury’s late night shopping extravaganza

With Christmas just around the corner local businesses in Canterbury’s high street will be opening their doors this evening for a one-off Late Night Shopping Extravaganza to celebrate Black Friday.

These independent shops will be selling a variety of fun, quirky gifts with special discounts.

Some stores will also be featuring live music and other forms of entertainment for the evening.

The event appeared on Facebook last week.

The event was posted on Facebook last week, with 1.7k people already saying that they are going or are interested. The event will start at 6pm until 8pm, giving shoppers a 2 hour window to take a break from high street retailers and see what the local retailers have to offer.

The Buttermarket.

Posted on the event are some of the discounts that will be on offer including The Dog Store who are having a 50% off sale on selected items, Level Up Games, who are allowing customers a free turn on their arcade entertainments and Siesta Crafts, who are giving away free incense samples.

The Late Night Shopping Extravaganza gives small, independent, highstreet stores the opportunity to show what they have to offer, when all year round they compete with the big highstreet names who dominate the city.

Sun Street.

You can find the perfect gifts for the family whilst supporting your independent shops by heading to this event tonight. Don’t forget, there will be live music and other entertainment to enjoy while you browse! You can check out more through the link below:
