Elderly woman dies after collision in Chatham

A woman has died after being hit by a bus in Chatham.

Police are appealing for information after the fatal collision yesterday afternoon.

The incident happened at Waterfront Bus Station at around 2:15pm.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are carrying out enquiries and are urging witnesses and people that may have CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.

Kent Police tweeted this morning.
