NUS president comes to Canterbury Christ Church University

Monday, January 23 will see Malia Bouattia, president of NUS speak about racial and religious discrimination in the UK.
The meeting which will be held in Old Sessions House, on the North Holmes campus of Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) will be open to students, members of the public and staff.
Other panelist include: Hannah Dualeh – Equality, Liberation and Access Officer at Bristol Student’s Union and NUS NEC Welfare place
Razia Sherif – CEO of Kent Refugee Action Network and Fahid Qurashi – Lecturer in Criminology at CCCU.
Topics such as religious discrimination and problems faced by refugees in Kent will be discussed at the meeting which starts at 6pm and is expected to finish around 8pm.
