Six people arrested in Faversham murder investigation

Police have made six arrests after a fatal stabbing in The Street, Boughton-under-Blean.

The multi-agency response included the South-East Coast Ambulance Service who attended to a man in his 30s with injuries consistent with a stabbing.

The incident on Wednesday night was later confirmed to be fatal.

Tributes to the victim, Adam Pritchard, have been shared on social media.

Amy-Jayne Lambert wrote on Facebook: “There is a big Adam Pritchard shaped hole that is left in our lives right now.

“The fiercest protector, the broadest and the bravest of shoulders, the cheesiest of grins and the most comfiest of cuddles…

“Faversham’s finest.”

Three men were arrested in connection with the incident and a murder investigation was launched. The three men were aged between 39 and 43.

Later two more men, 37 and 42, were detained at a property in the village and taken into custody. A third man, 33, was arrested in Canterbury.

Officers continued to patrol the area of the incident.
