Man arrested on suspicion of murdering missing mum
A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the search of a missing women from Sissinghurst on Thursday.
Alexandra Morgan, aged 34 was last seen on CCTV at a petrol station near Cranbrook at 7:20am on Remembrance Sunday and has not been in contact with family since.
The disappearance of the mother-of-two is being treated as a suspicious and a potential murder.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Kimber, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: “It is completely out of character for Alexandra not to contact her family and we are now treating this case as a potential murder.”
Investigators have released images of a Mini Cooper belonging to Alexandra the vehicle made journeys between her home address and towards the Hastings area on Sunday 14th and Monday 15th November.
Kent Police with support of the Sussex Police are carrying out searches in the Hastings and St Leonards-on-Sea area.
Residents are urged to come forward with any information on the car with the registration plates “MF55 YHM”
Detective Kimber added, ” While we continue our investigation, I would urge anyone who may have seen Alexandra or her white Mini Cooper with a black roof to contact us.”
