Business Awards 2022 ‘rewarding excellence in Kent businesses’

The application for Businesses Awards in Ashford and Canterbury closed yesterday (May 4).

Those applying for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells awards will be able to enlist their businesses by October 10.

All regions in Kent compete in different categories, ranging from Innovation and Customer Service to Small Business and Business Women of the Year.

The Canterbury’s division includes businesses in Whitstable, Broadstairs, Herne Bay, Margate and Ramsgate, the Ashford Awards include its nearby towns Deal, Folkestone, Hythe and Romney Marsh.

Businesses entering these awards can help grow their growing networks, particularly useful for new start-ups, and increase the potential for new customers.

Organisers of Kent Awards believe that instead of encouraging rivalry, bringing different parties together to celebrate community is essential.

“We believe in supporting each other and local businesses is the key to achieving – not just for our award finalists, applicants and winners, but especially for our sponsors.”

Last year, award winners were East Kent Foot Care, Frasers and Modus Construction Consultants.

The winners for the 2022 Canterbury or Ashford Awards will be released at the end of May; Maidstone or Tunbridge Wells Awards will be announced by mid-November.

The competition will end with Kent Business Awards Gala Dinner.
