How social media reacted Harry and Meghan Netflix documentary

It has been the most talked about royal story since the Oprah interview at the beginning of the year, yesterday the opening part to the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle docuseries was released on streaming site Netflix.

This documentary follows the lives of the formal royals as they continue their new lives in America and telling their stories from their time as apart of the royal family.

Social media has been talking about this since the docuseries was announced one of the main tweeters being journalist and Talk TV presenter Piers Morgan who has had a lot to say regarding the former royals since his walkout on ITV’s Good Morning Britain in March of last year.

One of the tweets saying “If you think the monarchy is a racist institution why would you want to keep the royal titles?” he would also say in response to a different tweet “Bro, what makes my country look bad is a pair of greedy royal renegade gritters running around trashing Britons as a bunch of racists”

It wasn’t just Piers Morgan who wrote tweets on the docuseries and all the tweets were against Harry and Meghan. One tweet saying” this is why he fights for their safety. He is doing what his dad couldn’t do for him and his mother” another tweet said, “nobody has the right to tell Prince Harry that he can’t talk about his mother nobody has the right to tell him who he can and cannot love.”

It was a mixed bag of tweets some for the former royals and some against the royals, no matter what side people are on this documentary will be talked about for a long time to come.
