CCTV image released after public order offence in Whitstable

A CCTV image has been shared by officers investigating a public order offence in Whitstable.

It was reported that a woman was walking with a child when they were confronted by a man they did not know who was behaving in an aggressive manner and was verbally abusive.

He then allegedly made an inappropriate gesture towards them before they could leave the area without further issue.

The offence is reported to have happened at about 8.20am on Wednesday, May 1 in Cromwell Road between Regent Street and Railway Avenue.

Officers investigating the incident have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to as they believe he may have information which could help with their inquirers.
