Icy roads cause Canterbury traffic problems

Heading up to Christmas and the end of the year, roads are becoming busier, the temperatures are plummeting and this has equaled to more road traffic incidents.

With thousands of people off to do last-minute Christmas shopping, travelling in time to spend Christmas with loved ones, or do their daily commute to work, it is vital more now than ever to check your journey before you head off and plan ahead to avoid delays or unexpected disruptions.

As well as this, many Stagecoach services are also delayed and this is due to traffic. Many roads have a planned closure into the new year and emergency roadworks may appear. Make sure to drive safely, be cautious of weather conditions, and leave with plenty of time.
