Songs to help reduce university stress

Stress is one of my biggest weaknesses. Since reaching out for help, I have found ways to cope with them both. One way I found extremely helpful was music. As I can be easily distracted by lyrics, I chose to stick with instrumental songs.

The NHS website defines stress as “The body’s reaction to feeling threatened or under pressure”. The website also says that “too much stress can affect our mood, our body and our relationships” and that “Experiencing a lot of stress over a long period of time can also lead to a feeling of physical, mental and emotional exhaustion, often called burnout.”

If you believe you are suffering from Stress please do reach out for help, Organisations such as With You can offer free CBT to help you find ways of coping with your stress.
