Not going away this summer? We’ve got you covered.  Here are the top five events in Canterbury this summer.


1. Reach Out Charity Choir Concert

The gospel choir will be hosting a ‘fun evening’ of traditional Gospel songs mixed with pop.

Proceeds will go to the Kent Autistic Trust and the Church Repair Fund.

When: June 1st at 7:00pm

Where: St Nicholas Church, Sturry, CT2 0BL

2. Rough common Antique and Vintage fair

Fancy picking up some vintage wonders?

The monthly antique and vintage fair is back again with over 20 dealers showcasing their finds.

When: June 9th from 8am – 2pm



3. Pride Canterbury

Considered one of the best events in Canterbury; the annual LGBTQ+ celebratory event returns!

Get your rainbow socks out for this fun filled day.

Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle will be there, so keep an eye out.

When: June 15th 11am -11pm

4. Raise The Roof family festival

Described as ‘a family-oriented two day festival’ with headline acts, tribute bands, entertainers and local acts – there’s going to be something for everyone.

Look forward to dancing and singing along to classics by Abba, Queen and Girls Aloud.

The money raised from ticket sales will help go towards Catching Lives. 

When: July 20th and 21st July



5. Pilgrims Hospice Vintage Tea and Fair

Is there a better way to enjoy a summer’s afternoon than enjoying a pot of tea and cake as punts pass along the river?

Pilgrims Hospice will be hosting a vintage tea and fair where you’re encouraged to dress in your vintage best.

When: July 21st
