Two brothers jailed for child rape

Two brothers have been jailed for raping the same child in Dover, back in 2017.

Kye Dunn, who was 19 at the time, coerced the child back to his home with cannabis and alcohol before sexually assaulting them.

He then pushed the child into another room of the house, on Westbury Road, where his brother Robbie, who was 17 at the time, proceeded to rape the child as they slept.

Both brothers pleaded guilty to their respective crimes and were sentenced in Canterbury Crown Court on Friday, December 3.

Kye Dunn was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison, whilst Robbie Dunn was sentenced to a three and a half year custodial sentence.

Robbie Dunn also pleaded guilty to assault and affray in relation to other offences he committed whilst on bail in November last year.

The investigating officer Helen Press said: “Kye and Robbie Dunn took advantage of a child who was much younger than them for their own sexual gratification, and put the victim through a terrible ordeal that will likely remain with them for the rest of their life.

“The victim was incredibly brave in speaking up about what the Dunn brothers did to them and I hope other young people who may be targeted by sex offenders in the future take confidence in the outcome of this investigation.”
